Bash Wars VI; Round I

gore_sports, is a single elimination one-on-one contest until only one contestant lives. It's based off weapons contestants bring with them, and it is possible for both to die.
As women are often underrepresented and underestimated in television, movies, and books, I personally made sure to enter a female character (Kara "Starbuck" Thrace) for my contestant, though I am glad to see many other women as well. The official post for Round I is here, and below the first cut I will give my thoughts on some of the battles. Under the second cut I'll post the poll!

Characters I'm rooting for under this discussion come from fandoms such as Battlestar Galactica, Xena, Star Wars, Leverage, Buffy, ASOIAF, and Supernatural.
West Brackets
Starbuck v. another kind of robot. Yes it's big and fierce, but she has taken on cylons, who unlike Deathsaurus, will kill children. And yes, I support woman > robot and Starbuck more than many things/people.
Xena v. fat superstrength Pop-Eye like man. She's killed gods, and I support the warrior princess on this one.
Chewbacca v. Muppet. Pls pls pls, Chewbacca is far more impressive a walking carpet.
Eliot Spencer v. Jules Winfield. Jules shoots big guns at people. Eliots destroys people who shoot big guns.
Princess Leia v. Zack Ryder. WWE has nothing on her. She can use weapons and later the Force.
East Brackets
Buffy the Vampire Slayer v. Medusa. Her eyes can turn you to stone, but Buffy had to learn in Season 5 to move by sensing with her eyes shut. Plus she's taken on gods, vampires, demons, and more. She is more than just a vampire slayer.
Sandor Clegane v. Uncle Iroh. He does have to get over his fear of fire, but the Hound is a hard dog to put down. Go ASOIAF.
Castiel v. Pop-Eye. Angel v. Sailor. Mmhmm, how do you think that would go?
I hope you'll consider supporting some of the kick-ass women (and men) in Bash Wars VI.
