Yeah, weekends can fill up. Most of my stuff is slightly fluid in that I could switch some things around now if we get the dates figured out, but this definitely needs dates soon. >.>
And I can only speak for myself, but I couldn't do midlands. I went with London for the poll because 1) it's near me and 2) easier to get to for people not in the UK. Doing a meet up sometime somewhere else in the UK can totally happen sometime. Just as I'm not there, I wouldn't want to try and step up and organize it.
Can you wait a short bit? The poll's been filled out by three people atm, so it is possible the preferred/working weekend could shift. And I know of at least that many more people who were potentially interested in doing it. I'd hate for you to splurge and then tons of people go "Lets do it this other weekend."
I'll be here about a year total atm that I know of. If I really like it, I may try to come back more permanently. =)
Yep, I'm definitely going to wait a bit - I'm not much for impulsive buys. Haha. I'm just saying I'd be willing to buy tickets if other people show interest. Though actually, I do have another friend who's visiting London that weekend too, so even if this doesn't work out, I'd still have a reason to go. ...And anyway, there's ALWAYS a reason to go to London anyway! :P
For sure - I'm sure I'll be down more times within the next year, so we should definitely be able to meet up. I'll let you know when I do (how can I contact you, btw?) And where are you staying?
